| 英文描述 | Hay or silage made from Sweet Vernal Grass (ANTHOXANTHUM ODORATUM) has caused outbreaks of a bleeding disorders in cattle; this has been experimentally reproduced. The forage was shown to have high levels of dicoumarol and this was probably produced by fungi on sweet vernal grass. There is generalized failure of blood clotting and elevated prothrombin time. Dx by dietary history and showing that dicoumarol is in the diet. This is similar to Sweet Clover poisoning. |
